ADepending on crowd levels and the elevator 's conditions on the day in question, you may have to wait a short time before entering the Observatory. For this reason, we recommend you come a little ahead of your desired entry time.
In addition, we may limit entry due to crowding. We kindly ask for your understanding.

AWhen purchasing a ticket at the ticket counter, you can use the following gift certificates: Toshima Ward Common Gift Certificate, Sunshine City Common Gift Certificate, MUN Gift, JCB Gift, UC Gift, Diners Royal, VJA Gift, Mitsubishi Estate Group Gift and Sunshine City Shopping Tickets.

AFor unused pre-sale tickets (including invitations and special admission tickets) with an expiration date between March 3, 2020 (Tuesday) and May 31, 2021 (Monday), please checkhere .

ASame-day tickets cannot be reissued.

ASame-day tickets cannot be exchanged, canceled or refunded, except in the event of the sudden closing of the Observatory. In all other cases you will have to buy a ticket by paying its full price.

AWe offer no refunds nor discounts in case of bad weather or poor visibility.

AWe accept group reservations for groups of 20 people or more.

AAnnual passes (Annual Passports) can be purchased on our website’s Annual Passport Purchase page or at the Observatory's ticket counter. When purchasing a pass online, you will receive the electronic version of the Annual Passport; when purchasing it at the Observatory's ticket counter, you will be issued a card-type Annual Passport.

AThe price is 3,600 yen for all visitors. Individuals with a disability certificate are entitled to a special price of 1,800 yen or half of the regular price. There will also be an additional issuance charge of 200 yen for all purchases of card-type annual passports.

AThe Passport entails services like a "30% discount on the admission ticket for up to two persons accompanying the Passport holder", a "30% discount on VR experiences for the Passport holder and up to two accompanying persons". There are also other advantages related to the car parking and bicycle parking services.
About business hours/facilities

AOpening hours are from 10:00 to 20:00 (30 minutes before the end of final admission). However, opening hours may change depending on special circumstances. The Observatory's ticket counter is open from 10:00 to 19:30.

AWe are open seven days a week, all year long. However, we may close due to special circumstances.

AAdmission tickets will be checked upon re-entry.※Re-entries not allowed from October 2 to November 3.

AThere are no smoking areas inside the Observatory. Please use the smoking areas inside Sunshine City.

APlease refrain from bringing large pieces of luggage, perishables, inflammable/explosive goods and other dangerous goods inside the Observatory.

AIt varies from person to person, but you should be able to see everything in about 1 hour/1 hour and 30 minutes.

AThere are no particular restrictions but, depending on crowd levels on the day of your visit, our staff may offer advice on how long you should stay.

AYes, baby strollers are admitted.
About services

A● Please take care to not capture other customers or staff in photos or video. Also, please refrain from Internet uploads of photos or videos showing other customers without said persons' consent.
● Shooting with lighting equipment, large-size equipment, etc. that obstructs the passage of other customers is strictly prohibited without permission.
● When using a selfie stick, monopod, or tripod, make sure these are used safely and with consideration of other customers nearby, and take care to avoid blocking pathways.
● During crowded times, please refrain from shooting, staying, or live-streaming for long periods of time in the same location. Staff may speak to you at such times.
● Staff may speak to you upon observing any other behavior deemed inappropriate.
● Our company bears no connection to any shooting-related troubles occurring between customers.
● Please understand that we do not engage in any individual checking, consent, or response to individual customers concerning the content, etc. of photos and videos.

APlease refrain from bringing food ( lunch boxes included) and drinks into the Observatory.

AVisitors are not allowed to take pets inside the Observatory.However, animals like assistance/guide dogs for the visually or audio impaired are allowed inside the premises.

AThe Observatory is equipped with priority toilets for the disabled.

AWe do not lend out wheel chairs within this facility, however you can borrow one from one of the following six locations: the Shopping Center Alpa B1 (General Information Counter/Hirokoji Information Counter) and 1F (Hirokoji Information Counter), the General Disaster Control Center on 1F of the Sunshine 60 Building, the Disaster Control Center on the 1F of the Bunka Kaikan Building, and at the front desk of the B2 parking lot in the Sunshine 60 Building. Please note that the number of wheelchairs provided is limited and none may be available at certain times.

AAlthough we do not offer baby strollers rentals in the facilities, baby strollers rentals are available in Sunshine City. We kindly ask for your understanding that the number of baby strollers available is limited.

AThere are no nursing rooms in the Observatory. Please use the Baby Rooms in the Sunshine City’s Shopping Center "alpa" in the B1 basement, on the 2nd floor and 3rd floor (10:00 to 20:00). For details, please refer to the "Equipment and services for children" section on the Sunshine City Official Website.

AA diaper changing seat can be found in the mens’, womens’ and priority toilets, respectively.

AA 24-hour parking lot with space for 1,800 cars is available. For details, please see the "Information on parking" section on the Sunshine City Official Website.

AVisitors who gain admission to the observatory with paid tickets of over 2,000 yen in a single payment or with the use of their annual passports are entitled to a free 2-hour parking service. Please present your parking ticket upon admission to the observatory. In addition, the amount spent at the cafe is accrued separately and counts towards the parking fee incentives based on the total amount spent in Sunshine City.
