The deep and realistic starry sky is the most attractive quality of Planetarium “Manten.” The state-of-the-art optical projector faithfully reproduces the true nature of night. We offer a unique and awe-inspiring experience of stars falling like rain in the night sky.
Besides general seating, the planetarium is furnished with “lawn seats” that spread out in the image of lush green grass, and soft “cloud seats” that make you feel as if you’re gazing up into the night sky from a cloud. Both allow you to lie on your back as the open-air atmosphere provides the sensation that you’re watching the night sky from the bosom of nature. Come and refresh your travel-weary bones.
The planetarium also showcases a Healing Planetarium that allows you to view the starry sky as you enjoy original aromas representing the theme of the production together with soothing music. The aromas used during the screening are sold at the “Manten” shop inside the facility. Why not take home the scent that will bring back memories of your trip together?
